Just finished A Gate at the Stairs, which I really loved. Oh, and The Book of Lost Things is a favourite too.
I will definitely look into them, thank you!
"The Lace Reader" - Brunonia Barry. I'm not even going to tell you about it. Just trust me and read it and then we can chat.
Okay!
HAHA: JANE AUSTEN. I'm taking a seminar on her this term so I've gotten even more obsessed than usual.
I LOVE HER. Whats your fave? I've already read Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Sense and Sensability, and Emma.
Oh well then you're set! I mean, I've read them all but Northanger (which I will read next week), but I have to admit Mansfield Park makes me feel unpleasantly solemn, though it is v. good. Emma is my favorite, I just finished rereading it tonight and lordy what shall I ever do with myself. What is your fave?
Hmm, it's hard for me to pick, but I think Sense and Sensibility is my favorite. That's funny you say that about Mansfield Park, my friend Kayla absolutely loves Jane Austen and told me the same thing. How do you feel about Jane Eyre? I tried to read it and I couldn't really get into it.
Oh interesting, I've never met someone with that as a favorite, cool! I liked it a lot but I didn't like Edward or Brandon, so I couldn't fully love it.

I actually haven't read Jane Eyre yet! I have it on my bookshelf, after school ends I have a plan to get to it.
Ah, yeah, I haven't met anyone who liked it as much as I did either, haha. Oh, well when you read it you should post your thoughts, I really want to like it but I just couldn't.

This is kind of random, but have you read any of the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray? They're YA novels and seriously some of my most favorite books ever. So good.
I started the first Gemma Doyle last summer and then had to stop for thesis stuff, but I REALLY liked it and I bought them all and will definitely finish them. Especially now that I know they are some of your favorites!
Oh good! You must finish them and then we can talk about themmmm!
Indeed indeed! They are pretty much first on my list.
Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Madonnas of Leningrad by Debra Dean. Read these in my honors class and they are both excellent reads :)
Life of Pi totally freaked me out haha, or like, disturbed me, but it was super interesting! Thanks! I'll put them on the list!
